Photography has been a life-long passion, and a central purpose of my journeys, whether short or long, near or far. It has led me down city streets, country roads and wild trails that I might not otherwise have found.
My landscapes depict both the beauty of nature and the doings of man. I am a biologist and a birder, and my wildlife photos show birds in their native habitats. I am intrigued by barns, lighthouses and other structural artifacts of society, and I try to capture those subjects from unique perspectives. I strive to engage the viewer by focusing on the artistic elements in all of my compositions.
It is my pleasure to share my observations of the world around us.
