Description
Create the perfect spooky painting to display for Halloween! Draw your own whimsical sketch of the famous Bates House from the movie “Psycho” – and what better time to do it than Friday the 13th!
If you can draw simple shapes like circles and squares, you will be able to create this house! Christine will take you through each step. Students will first sketch with pencil and use fine line waterproof pens to complete the house. Christine will also supply a template for those who prefer a little more help getting their sketch transferred to paper. The last step is to add colorful watercolor paints to bring the house to life. You can be creative and add bats, black cats, or spiders and webs. Have fun with it!
All materials provided, but you are welcome to bring any watercolor paints you prefer to use.
Christine will provide several examples on the board and there will be paper setup for practicing your skills.
