ONLINE CLASS
Topic: “Painting Beautiful Skies in Pastel”
This is a 3-week online class session. Instruction includes a weekly tutorial, individual feedback and critique, and a weekly Zoom session on Tuesdays at 1:00 pm, where the class can discuss topics and share with each other. You can participate from anywhere. All levels are welcome, but some drawing experience is helpful.
This class will help you develop confidence with the pastel medium, including building a strong composition, understanding values, creating light and shadow, and developing cohesive color harmony in your paintings. Various underpainting techniques will be introduced. Students may use reference photos you have taken yourself or paint from life. See the list of materials and resources.
