There is a one-time $25 application fee to become an Artist, Artisan, or Signature Artist Member at Arts Center East. Artist Membership is open to artists working in all media, including drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, etc.
Please email your application pieces (artist resume with contact information, five (5) high-res images representative of your work, and brief artist statement) to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please specify if you are applying for Artist Membership or Signature Artist Membership.
Signature Artist Membership is attained through application and decided by a panel of three jurors. Our three jurors are Barbara Groff (coordinator), Kelly Taylor, and Gene Suponski. The panel will review the applications and notify each applicant of their decision, either election to Signature Artist Membership or encouragement to participate as an Artist Member. Selection will be made on the basis of technical ability, use of medium, creativity, and originality.
Signature Applications may be submitted in the months of March, April, or September. Notifications will be made by May 30 or October 31, depending on the application cycle.
