First impressions fuel the work of CT born artist Janet Bogon Romanowski. Working primarily from life Romanowski’s figurative, still life and landscape work attempt to maintain the artist’s initial vision. The importance of light coupled with a palette suited to the subject at hand are prominent features that bind the classically trained artist to contemporary realism. What the observer experiences is dependent on what they personally bring: this interplay hopefully defines the connection between artist, observer and her art. The artist maintains a studio in Marlborough, Connecticut.
