New England Charm

Virtual Juried Multimedia Exhibit

In the late 19th and early 20th Century, Currier & Ives were known for their quintessential New England prints, like The American national game of baseball and American Homestead Winter. But what is it about New England that makes it such a charming artistic subject? In this New England Charm exhibit, we are showcasing visual depictions of New England and what makes it a unique and distinct part of America, from the costal and woodland landscapes, to its Colonial or contemporary architecture, to the wildlife and the weather.
