The easiest way to know what’s happening is to sign up for our weekly e-newsletters. You can also follow us on Facebook and Instagram. Our classes, exhibits, and events are also published with Patch, Courant Community, CTNow, GHAC, Windham Arts, Tolland Chamber of Commerce, and other outlets.
- When are you open?
During exhibits, the gallery is open Thursday–Saturday, 1:00–5:00pm, with some extended hours for special events. Classes are offered independently of gallery hours and are scheduled by the instructors. Live music nights and theater performances also occur independently of gallery hours.
- Is Arts Center East ADA compliant?
Yes! Arts Center East is ADA compliant and prides itself on being an accessible space.
- Who are your Artist Members?
Active Artist Members are listed on our website. Accepted Artist/Artisan Members are guaranteed participation in the Annual Artist Members Exhibit. ACE receives a 20% commission on members’ art sales (in contract to the 30% commission on non-members’ art sales). Artist Members also receive a 10% discount on classes, gift shop purchases, and theater performances at ACE. Membership is renewable annually. Click here to learn more about become an Artist Member.

- How is Arts Center East funded?
Arts Center East is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Funding comes from a combination of grant sources, our annual appeal, and business sponsorships, as well as individual contributions. Additional funding comes from class and workshop fees, membership dues, exhibit entry fees, ticket sales, and gift shop and art sales. You can make your donation to support our mission securely online.
- How can I support ACE?
You can make your tax-deductible donation to Arts Center East securely online, or send a check to Arts Center East at 709 Hartford Turnpike, Vernon, CT 06066. You can also support ACE by becoming a volunteer to help with exhibits and events we hold year-round, or by becoming a member.
- How can I show my art at ACE?
Arts Center East hold several juried shows every year that are open to the public. Information about how to entry your artwork in upcoming exhibits is listed on our website and social media. It is also publicized with Patch, Courant Community, CTNow, GHAC, Windham Arts, Tolland Chamber of Commerce, and other outlets. You can also rent gallery space at Arts Center East to show your art.
- Do you take art supply donations?
We do accept other donations of art supplies, cleaning supplies, and office supplies. All proposed donation offers can be emailed to info@artscentereast.org. We appreciate all donations made to support Arts Center East and our artist community!
