“Where flowers bloom so does hope.” – Lady Bird Johnson
With winter beginning to wane, we welcome Spring and the vibrant colors and smells the season brings. The change in seasons refreshes our senses and renews the soul.
“In Bloom” evokes images of leaves sprouting and plants flowering; the environment waking from a cold sleep. But it is also a useful metaphor for the growth and vigor and change we find in ourselves.
Leaving 2020 behind, what are the “seeds” you planted in the New Year that you are hoping to grow in this season of transition and transformation? What blooms in your literal or metaphorical environment?
With your submission, artists are encouraged to include a description to accompany your artwork to be displayed in the gallery and online.
This exhibit will be hung in the gallery, HOWEVER there is the option to have your work included ONLY in the virtual gallery. In your statement PLEASE include whether your submissions are for the in-person exhibit AND the virtual gallery, or the virtual gallery ONLY if you prefer.
Accepted Artists Drop-Off: Thursday, March 18, 2:00-5:00pm, Friday, March 19, 2:00-6:00pm, Saturday, March 20, 10:00am-2:00pm
