Drawing is the foundation for everything we do in art. The ability to see the world and put it down in a beautiful way is a skill that will return much joy. Geared for any level, this class is for anyone who wants to build a best possible foundation for their personal artistic journey. This class will address drawing with charcoal and graphite pencil. Whether beginner or experienced, each student will expand the ability to see shapes, values — the dramatic “light and dark” of the subject. The first session begins with a narrated demonstration giving the how’s and why’s of the drawing process. Known for her positive and upbeat teaching style, Shauna will help you achieve a solid foundation for your personal artistic journey. With specific instruction you will advance your skills, no matter whether beginning or advanced.
