Instructor: Kristen McNevins
This workshop is designed for students from teen to adult, who want to channel their creative energy into a project while learning easy and inexpensive ways to create books. The class will feature a quick instruction on a few unique bookmaking methods, and plenty of time for creating your own book. Your book can be about anything and everything! This project can fit well with personal writings, as well as more informative writing about a topic you feel passionate about. The important thing is that you have a voice and something great worth sharing!

Kristen McNevins is a photographic artist based in Connecticut. She received a BFA from the University of Connecticut, and an MFA in photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, GA. Her work has been featured in exhibitions through out the United States, print publications, and online magazines. She currently works as an educator in Connecticut.
