ARTIST MEMBER Susan Superson

As an only child I became an expert in solitude.  While exploring forests, gardens, and sea sides, I connected deeply with the natural world.  This fascination for nature, not as it is seen, but felt, is the genesis for the impressionist paintings I create today.

My art has taught me to make mistakes with humor and to know that mistakes often become our most fascinating works.  I work in acrylic and mixed media, often producing canvasses that are a bit dream-like.

I have been a prize-winning artist in juried shows in Hampden, Monson, and Agawam MA and Vernon and Somers CT. I have also been a featured artist at the Truro Vineyards and the Orleans Artist Cottages.
