I have been creating digital art using my own photography, and a bit of Photoshop for the past 5 years. I use my photography skills, along with my Photoshop knowledge to create fun, whimsical animal art. My goal is to create art that is lighthearted, makes people smile, or even laugh out loud. Laughter is the best medicine, I always used it during my almost 30 years as a nurse, now I am sharing my sense of humor through my art. I have won several Digital art contests, and in 2015 one of my photographs was published in the print version of National Geographic. I have been licensing my artwork since 2019 and I currently have many works out for sale by numerous companies around the world. Puzzles being the bulk of what I have licensed to date.

I have found people love the comical spin I put on what would otherwise be a typical animal photo. I create a story by adding elements that make the animals look like they are doing “human” things. I also love to create tribute art, “Fun Fine Art” as I like to call it. It is a wonderful way to get people seeing the Old Masters artwork in a new light, maybe even inspire some to take an interest in Art History. Vermeer, Renoir, Van Gogh, Da Vinci, and more. The Old Masters’ art gets reinvented with my animals in the place of their human subjects.

Everyone needs A Bit of Whimsy in their lives. A bit of lightheartedness, a moment or two to forget life’s stresses.
