ARTIST MEMBER Joe Burger

Joe Burger has been active in art since retiring in 2009 from a mechanical engineering career in aerospace and nuclear power. His work is usually in the traditional realistic style, primarily in watercolor. He is grateful for the instruction provided by some of the finest artists in the region. Joe has won numerous awards in local shows, has been accepted in national exhibits several times, and is currently a member of several art associations. He keeps his studio at his home in Broad Brook, CT.

Joe has taught workshops in drawing and perspective, helping others along the way to better paintings. He enjoys the challenge of commissioned work on subject matter important to his clients, ranging from fighter jets to puppy portraits and anything in between.
