ARTIST MEMBER Blair Weaver

I have been making art most of my life, and studied at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design.  My journey is on again/off again roller coaster type of ride. A studio littered with scraps of stuff- discarded wrappers, fabrics, items of recycle is typical.

My current studio practice has shifted to painting from life and memory.  Slippery, colorful, messy and unexpected learning curves fill my time. The quest to describe in visual language a moment of beauty, how light strikes form into something delicious- this is my new tangent. But I do still like stuff made from other stuff!
